My summer Make-up- Foundation

Summer Foundation :)
The sun was out this morning and i was in a summery mood, so i thought i would do a Summer Make-up post :)!
In the summer i don't really wear that much make-up, because it always ends up melting off my face... not a good look!
But if i go out and feel the need to look presentable, then these products are what I use.

FACE:
I do suffer from spots, and i also have some scars :(! so i do feel uncomfortable with out any foundation at all, but in the summer, it is way too hot to be apply MACs Studio Fix Foundation, instead my new love is the infamous.....
LAURA MERCIER tinted moisturizer
I actually purchased this beauty at the Calefornias Disney Lands Sephora... oh yes they have a Sephora there! Being from the UK we sadly do not have a Sephora, so i made the most of the ones
in America!
You have probably heard ALOT about think product already, but here are my thoughts :)
I love this tinted moisterizer because typically when we think of a tinted moisturizer we think
of a sheer orangey coverage. This is nothing like that. It actually gives descent coverage enough
for me to feel confident in!
It also contain spf 20! which is essential for the summer! we don't want to be turning
in to wrinkly of grannys anytime soon!
it comes in an oil free version too. I have oily skin and my sister has dry ( i persuaded her to
buy one too) so it is perfect for all skin types.
Those of you with oily skin know how bad tinted moisturisers can look- like a shiny grease
ball- not attractive.
it says it gives "lightweight flawless coverage" which is so true
it leaves skin feeling covered yet hydrated and moisturized, it even protects your skin from the
suns rays! what more could you want?

If i go out and decide not to wear this [it's not as cheap as chips around $42 on the Sephora
website] so it's not something i would wear every day.
A great moisturizer i found is Cliniques Youth Surge
I got this as part of the 2 free samples when i purchased the Anti-Blemish skin care line
(which i do not rate!)
it's only 15ml (the packaging is deceiving and makes it look as if there is a lot more product in
there, it has a shelf about a third of the way down)
This moisturizure is of medium thickness, but goes on the skin nicely, it
is not too oily, but for caution i apply it about an hour before i am leaving the house,
so it has time to sink in.
it leaves my skin so soft, an it also contains and spf of 15.
I used this on the plane coming to and from America, because it is a small ml, it is acceptable
to bring in hand luggage.
It kept my skin hydrated for the 10 or so hours i was on the plane.
So a big thumbs up from me.
:)

Take care and have a lovely day :)
